Who Lives in Puget Sound? (15 min)
produced by Nancy Sefton
Unicorn Studios

Tag along with Jimmy and Kelly as they visit a beach seine, snorkel over eelgrass beds, and finally ride in a magic submarine to meet the fascinating denizens of our local waters.

Learn how all living things, from seaweeds to massive whales, are connected, depending on one another for survival.

"Who Lives in Puget Sound?" is also available on an educational DVD for grades 2 - 5.  Its emphasis is on marine life in the Sound combined with a subtle message about saving this complex ecosystem that is unique to our area.

Copies of this DVD have been donated to regional school districts for use by elementary school teachers; additional copies can be obtained by teachers from the producer at nrsefton@comcast.net.

Nancy Sefton currently operates her third video production company, Uncorn Studios, which specializes in environmental education for young people, from grades K - 7.  She donates copies of new titles to northwest schools and libraries.  Of her 26 titles to date, almost all have won national awards and three carry the coveted designation from the American Library Assn.: Notable Children's Media.  Nancy lives in Poulsbo, Washington, but lived for 22 years in the Caribbean where she developed a passion for marine ecosystems, a subject of many of her videos.
